Ecobuild is the UK’s largest trade show in the building sector. It’s considered the number one event to showcase forward-thinking sustainable solutions across the built environment.
It will take place from the 6th to the 8th of March in ExCel venue, right in the heart of the suggestive London’s historic Royal Docks. We recommend you to plan your journey in advance as the area gets really busy during trade events.
What’s new at Ecobuild London 2018
Be ready for big news this year! Managing director Martin Hurn has announced that “New independent ownership has given us the opportunity to completely overhaul the event”. The team spent the last year conducting polls and surveys to understand what people wanted to experience at the next Ecobuild edition.
Their goal for 2018 is to be a zero-waste event. In fact they are using a combination of modular systems and construction materials that will go back to the supply chain, after the event.
Experience is the keyword. As managing director Martin Hurn said: “We also believe that is more important to bring future trends to life, rather than just think and talk about them”. In order to meet this requirement, the team have set up the Sustainability Showcases which will surround the conference arena. In addition, full-scale builds will give the visitors the opportunity to truly experience the full benefits of all the revolutionary products.
